*Barbara was born Barbara Goldbach on August 27, 1947, in Queens, NY, to Howard and Marjorie Goldbach.

*She married Count Augusto Gregorini, a successful Italian businessman, in 1966. They met on a plane. They had two children in Rome: Countess Francesca McKnight Donatella Romana, on August 7, 1968, and Count Gian (aka Gianni) Andrea in 1972. They were divorced in 1977.

*Barbara married Ringo Starr on April 27, 1981, at Marylebone Register Office in London, where Paul and Linda McCartney had been married 12 years prior. Ringo and Barbara met on the set of the movie, Caveman.

*Barbara was in the James Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me.

*She left school at age 16 to become a model, and was highly successful as a leading model with the Eileen Ford Agency. She was the cover girl for Seventeen.

*She attended the Beatles' concert at Shea Stadium in 1965. She wasn't really impressed with it; she was only there chaperoning her sister.
