Olivia Harrison

Olivia Trinidad Arias was born May 18, 1948 in Mexico City, Mexico to Zeke and Mary-Louise Arias. She has two siblings, Peter and Linda. The family moved to California, where Olivia attended Hawthorne High School, and by 1963 was a secretary.
In 1974, Olivia was working at A&M Records and had talked to George Harrison many times over the phone. George was impressed and sent one of his friends to find her. George and Olivia met at a party and soon developed a romantic relationship.
On June 9, 1977, George and Pattie were divorced. George was now free to marry Olivia.
In 1978, Liv discovered that she was pregnant. She and George intended to marry in May of that year, but it was cancelled due to the death of George's father, Harold Harrison, Sr.
On August 1, 1978, Olivia gave birth to a 5-pound baby boy, Dhani, at Princess Christian Nursing Home in Berkshire, London, England. Soon after, George took her on a holiday in Amsterdam to recuperate.
On September 2, 1978, George and Olivia were married at Henley-on-Thames Register Office. Olivia's parents attended. Five days later, they announced that they were married and went on their honeymoon in Tunisia.
On December 9, 1980, Olivia was woken up by a phone call from George's sister, Louise. She told her that John Lennon was shot and killed in New York City. Olivia woke George up to inform him of the tragic news. George cancelled his recording sessions to mourn John.
In 1990, Olivia read about troubles in Romania and flew there to see what she could do to help. Horrified by what she saw, she founded a charity, Romanian Angel Appeal, with support from Barbara Bach, Linda McCartney, Yoko Ono, Elton John, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison.
On December 30, 1999, Olivia was awoken by the sound of breaking glass. She thought it was a chandelier that fell from the ceiling and sent George downstairs to investigate. There was not a chandelier, but an intruder. The intruder stabbed George in the chest and Olivia knocked him out with a lamp. Dhani rushed inside the house from his home on their grounds and held his father in his arms pleading for him not to die. The police came and arrested the intruder. George and Olivia were admitted into the hospital. Olivia was released with minor injuries, but George was still under care. Dhani and Olivia helped him recuperate.
In 2001, George developed lung cancer. He had a lump removed from his lung and had numerous surgeries. On November 29, 2001, George died at a friend's home in Los Angeles with his wife and son by his side.
Olivia keeps away from the public eye and still lives in Henley-on-Thames, but she's very dedicated to her charity and keeps George's memory and music alive.
