Linda Louise Eastman was born to Louise and Lee Eastman on September 24, 1941 in Scarsdale, New York. They later moved
to Arizona.
Linda has three siblings, Laura, Louise and John .
Linda married a geologist named Joseph Melville See, aka Melvin, on June 18, 1962. Their only child together, Heather
Louise, was born on December 31, 1963. They divorced in 1965. Melvin committed suicide on March 19, 1999.
On March 12, 1969, Linda married James Paul McCartney at Marylebone Register Office in London. Paul adopted her daughter
as his own, and her name now was Heather McCartney. They had three children together: Mary Anna, born August 28, 1969; Stella
Nina, born September 13, 1971; and James Louis, born September 12, 1977.
Sadly, Linda never lived to see her daughters get married or see her grandchildren. She died of breast cancer on April
17, 1998.
